The Lunar Nodes show us where we have been and where we (should) be going. They are an important placement to study in your chart.

The North Node shows us what we haven’t learned yet, where we can evolve karmically. It shows us our possible future and provides a goal for us to strive for. It’s uncomfortable at first, but as you mature, you find your greatest sense of peace aligning with its energy.

The South Node shows us where we have been, energy we have already mastered. It is so embedded in our psyche, we lean on this energy in times of stress and discomfort. But, you cannot grow if you stagnate in your South Node, and use it as a crutch in this life.

For example, if you have an Aries North Node, you’ll have a Libra South Node. They are always opposite on the zodiac wheel. Your North Node wants you to learn how to be assertive and independent, to embrace a sense of adventure in your life. Your Libra South Node means you’ve learned how to be considerate, to not upset the balances. This placement is one of learning confidence and standing up for yourself.
